Hong Kong, AP. Supporters of democracy will strongly oppose China's intentions to shut down the voices raised in their protests in Hong Kong. Democracy supporters have now decided to intensify the movement not only in their country but also abroad.
China has recently started efforts to suppress the voices of opponents here by implementing new rules in the election system in its semi-autonomous Hong Kong. This is the second maneuver in China after the National Security Act, in which the work of strangling democracy is being done.
The pro-democracy activists have issued a letter, naming the '2021 Hong Kong Charter'. Activists say local residents of Hong Kong are migrating rapidly. Those living here are scared of political conditions.
Democracy advocates say that the Communist Party of China has completely abolished the country's democratic values in the name of electoral reform in 2021. These reforms will prove to be the last nail in the coffin of the system of 'one country, two laws'. Therefore, we have now appealed to our supporters from all over the world to launch a campaign against China, thereby protecting Hong Kong's autonomy and democratic system.
